Provincial Company Backs Skipper Teams

The business arm of the Tailevu Provincial Council donated $5000 to the two provincial teams taking part in the 2021 Skipper Cup Premiership which kicks off on Saturday.
This is the second year the Tailevu Holdings Company PTE Limited supports the Northland Rugby Union and Tailevu Rugby Football Union.
The Isake Katonibau-coached Northland gets $2,000 while Seremaia Bai-mentored Tailevu received $1,000.
Tailevu Rugby had earlier received a portion last year for their Farebrother-Sullivan Trophy challenge against Nadi, a game that brought the people of the province together.
Tailevu Holdings Company PTE Limited representative Talei Rokotuibau said education and sports are two major themes that has a multiplier-effect
“Tailevu Holdings will continue to support these initiatives, considering such contributions as investments with positive returns to the people of the province of Tailevu,” she said.
“Tailevu Holdings CPL extends its well wishes to all the scholarship recipients, as well as both rugby unions taking part in the Skipper Cup.”
Tailevu will host Namosi at Ratu Cakobau Park while Northland and Naitasiri battle in Korovou.
