Tactical and smart play will be the key words for the Ba Provincial Dragons Under-19 side.

The Dragons booked a semifinal spot after defeating Lelean Knights 24-10 in the cup quarterfinals last weekend.

The Lautoka-based side play powerhouse Ratu Kadavulevu School Eels in the second and main semifinal game of the Vodafone Fiji Secondary Schools Rugby League competition at Churchill Park, Lautoka this Saturday

A total number of 12 teams should display hard and clean rugby league matches to keep the Sugar City fans on their feet.

Speaking to SUNsports trainer Krishant Reddy anticipates a good match.

“RKS is a champion side no one can take that away from them, we respect Eels,”Reddy said.

“We have to play smart and be very tactical when playing the boys from Delainakaikai.

“We focused on playing it right from the start.

“ It is important that our dummy halfs are well organised and we should be very consistent in playing it right.

“ There is nothing to lose because we have the advantge of our fans at home.

“The Eels are very physical side but we are working on areas that we believe we have the upper hand.

“The boys have been constantly reminded to keep their calm and to be disciplined because our opponents will want to intimidate us.

“We have to complete our sets.

“We’re happy to qualify because in 2018 and 2019 we lost at the death to Lelean.”

In this weekend’s thriller we have four schools from the West that will want to play in the finals next weekend.

Ba Provincial Dragons will be represented in U15, U17, U19 while Tavua District School will be represented in the U15 grade.
