The Batinikama Harbourlight football team are confident of winning their second match in the Labasa League competition.

The club beat Wailevu 2-1 in their opening match..

Labasa football coach, Ravneel Pratap who played for the team said the competition was still in its early days.

However, Pratap said the intensity would increase as more games were played.

“We look forward to the second round of the competition,” he said.

Pratap said they had not received any news on when the second round will be played.

He said there was a possibility that the second round will be played after the completion of the first round of home and away matches of the Digicel Premier League.

Labasa Football Association president Riyaz Khan said, the weather was the main factor behind the delay in the resumption of the competition.

“We have already completed round one at Bucalevu Primary School ground,” Khan said.
