Jasper Williams High School’s Coca-Cola Games campaign received a major boost on Thursday.

The former girl’s champions received $7000 worth of sponsorship from Extra Supermarket.

The Lautoka-based girl’s school recently won the Lautoka Yasawa Zone and were on track with their preparations for the Games.

JWHS principal, Vamita Sharma said the sponsorship had arrived in a timely manner.

“Indeed, we are very privileged to be associated with our sponsors since they are here to assist us in our preparations towards the upcoming Coca-Cola games,” Sharma said.

“We are trying our level best to get our girls the best in their preparation. And also their attire so that we can get to the competition and be victorious in whatever God has planned for us.”

Extra Supermarket Lautoka branch manager, Sheik Razak said it was an honour to sponsor the school that is the pride of the Sugar City.

“It’s a great honour to give such a sponsorship to Jasper Williams High School and we thank them for giving us the honour.”
