They Have…So Should You

The Opposition Members of Parliament have led by example in joining the chorus of leaders to get the COVID-19 vaccine.
National Federation Party (NFP) leader Biman Prasad and vice president Lenora Qereqeretabua took their first COVID-19 vaccine shots yesterday at the Samabula Health Centre.
In a statement from the NFP Facebook page, NFP said: “We encourage everyone to get their vaccine shots at their nearest vaccination centre.”
SODELPA MP and Opposition Whip Lynda Tabuya got her AstraZeneca jab on Tuesday.
On her Facebook page, she urged Fijians to do the same.
“If I don’t get on a plane anytime soon, I will be the happiest person BUT for the love of my country, I am getting my first shot,” she said.
“Please register to get vaccinated, you can do it all one go now.
“Here at Vodafone Arena, you register, get your shot, get your card as proof and get a bed to rest in for 15 minutes before you leave.
“Toso Viti (Move Fiji) – a COVID free community is a safe community.”
Please find enclosed the venues and times.
Venues of the vaccine registration and vaccination locations are on pages 6 to 9 in the Fiji Sun today.
