COVID-19: Rewa Football Association Players, Officials Asked To Self-Isolate

COVID-19: Rewa Football Association Players, Officials Asked To Self-Isolate

Following potential COVID-19 outbreak and subsequent curfew in Lautoka and Nadi, all Rewa Football Association players and officials have been asked to go in strict self-isolation as off this morning.

Rewa Football Association President Nazeel Buksh said: “As safety precaution we have taken the initiative to advice our members to self-isolate themselves as they were in the hotspot of the new cases recently reported.”

Family members of the players and officials who have come in contact since last night are also requested to self-isolate.

Rewa Football Association team management are in contact with Ministry of Health officials on precautionary steps and possibility of getting COVID-19 tests for all players and officials done.

“We will rely on Ministry of Health guidance in this matter,” said Mr Buksh.

In the interim all trainings and team sessions are suspended.
