All Ahmadiyya Mosques Closed For Lockdown Period

Jama’at e Ahmadiyya Fiji has closed all its mosques for iftaar and regular prayers including taraveeh prayers for the next 14 days as per the directives of the Government.
Earlier the organization had said the mosques would be closed for a few days but that has been changed to last the whole of the lockdown period which is the next 14 days.
Members are advised to offer all regular prayers including Juma and taraveeh prayers at their homes during the period of the closure of our mosques.
Ahmadiyya General Secretary, Iqbal Khan said his organization supported the decision taken by the Fiji Government to safeguard its people by implementing measures to stop the spread of COVID-19.
“Accordingly, all members of Jama’at Ahmadiyya Fiji are requested to strictly comply with the restrictions imposed by the Government,” Mr Khan said.
He said fresh advice will be issued after 14 days to Jama’at members which would be based on directives issued by the Government.
“Members are kindly requested to pray for the wellbeing of every citizen of our beloved nation and for the total elimination of this deadly virus from our shores,” Mr Khan said.
