Former Fijian rugby 7s key players Aminiasi Tuimaba and Vilimoni Botitu scored a try each for their respective French Top 14 clubs in the weekend.

Tumaba along with fiery openside flanker, Lekima Tagitagivalu scored a try each for Pau as they beat Bayonne 43-33 at the Stade du Hameau in Pyrénées-Atlantiques, France.

Also featuring for Pau was former Flying Fijians centre Jale Vatubua.

At the Stade Pierre- Fabre, Botitu playing at second five-eight dotted down Castres second try as they edged Toulouse 26-24.

Winger Filipo Nakosi also played well for Castres.

Levani Botia’s La Rochelle proved too strong for Lyon with a 38-23 win.

Bustling Flying Fijians winger Josua Tuisova scored a try for Lyon.
