Last Batch Of Natabua High Boarders Released
Natabua High School boarding students were escorted in a Police bus on April 21, 2021.

The last group of boarding students at Natabua High School was released on Wednesday.

School Principal Viren Sharma said the safety of his students was paramount.

“We were able to send the last batch of our hostel student’s home. We convey our most sincere appreciation to the parents, and guardians of the boys for their trust and patience that we would get the boys safely to them,” Mr Sharma said.

He was also grateful to the students for their cooperation waiting patiently for their medical clearance.

The students were escorted in a Police bus via the Queens Road.

He urged students to stay safe and keep practising COVID 19 preventative measures at home until school resumes in three weeks’ time.

Commissioner Western Mesake Ledua, alongside teams from the Republic of Fiji Military Forces and the Ministry of Education were also present at the school to ensure the safe release of the students.
