Spiritual Enlightenment Is Essential for Prosperity, Growth And Development, Minister For Agriculture, Rural And Maritime Development, Waterways And Environment, Mahendra Reddy, Told Hindu Devotees On The Occasion Of The Ram Naumi Celebrations.
He Commended the Leader Of The Brahma Kumari Ashram Shrimati Shantaben For The Spiritual Lecture And Guidance In Meditation And Highlighted That Since The Ashram Opened, She Has Worked Tirelessly To Guide Devotees To Find Comfort, Hope And Peace.
Mr Reddy Said Lord Rama Was A Model for Devotees Who Practise His Virtues And Values.
He Said While Fijians Are Faced With Unprecedented Challenges Like Natural Disasters, Floods, Cyclones And Diseases Over The Last Two Years, Fiji Has Emerged Victorious.
“In The Process, We Have Also Built Resilience Amongst Us. We Have Emerged Victorious From These Crises Because Of Decisive Leadership By Our Honourable Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama,” Mr Reddy Said.
“We Have A Common Vision. We Have United To Fight These Challenges And At The End, We Have Survived.
“This Is The Message Of Lord Rama, We Can’t Sit Back And Expect God To Come And Solve Our Problems.
“We Need To Listen To The Advice Of Our Leader, Unite And Take Action. This Is Precisely What Fijians Did.”
He Called Upon Fijians To Rally Behind The Prime Minister As We Pass Through This Difficult Phase Of Life And Also Advised Parents To Prepare Their Children For The Challenges Posed By The Pandemic.
“This Pandemic Will Pass And We Don’t Want Our Children’s Future To Be Affected. Parents Need To Protect And Guide Their Children During These Times As They Search For A New Normal.”
