The Nadi football side will have to dig deeper if they are to have any chance of winning the Digicel Premier League.

Nadi is currently fourth place on the standing with nine points.

After their 2-2 draw against Navua last Sunday, the Jetsetters will have to work hard to remain in contest with the top three.

Speaking to SUNsports Coach Salen Lal said the next two weeks will be for the players to think about their remaining games.”

“We were winning before Navua came back and lock the game,” he said.

“I’ve reminded the players to keep doing their own training during the lockdown and at the same time have a little self-reflection.

“They need to concentrate and start focus on what we want to achieve when the league season finishes.

“After the 14 days the players should have changed their mindsets towards the way we approach our game.

“We need to finish strong and always stay focused, at the same time try to finish off goal-scoring opportunities that come our way.

“Our efforts have to be doubled because we are going to play a very fit and smart Rewa side.

After a slow start in the season and their 4-1 loss to Ba in round two, Nadi has so far recorded two wins and three draws.

The league is expected to resume on Saturday May 8, where Nadi face Rewa, Suva to play Ba, Navua will take on Nadroga while league leaders Lautoka will try stop Labasa’s unbeaten run.
