12 New Cases: Dr. James Fong

Last night, the Permanent Secretary for Health and Medical Services Dr James Fong highlighted the following during his nationwide address:
Call 158 if you had attended a church service at Nasereci Church in Namaka, Nadi at 10:30am on April 18
Anyone who travelled from Viti Levu to Vanua Levu on April 19 have been urged to call 158.
12 new cases are: A soldier who was the roommate of the soldier who had earlier tested positive (case 73). Had been in Govt quarantine facility since April 18;
4 cases are related to the maid who tested positive from Lautoka, who had attended funeral in Tavakubu;
7 cases are related to the 29-year-old woman from Makoi. This includes her husband, 30, who had earlier tested negative for the virus on April 10 where he worked in Govt quarantine facilities. He left for Suva on April 12, but had close contact with case 73.
Movement of Makoi family is currently being tracked.
36 active cases in insolation, 14 border quarantine cases and 22 locally transmitted cases.
Containment areas throughout Viti Levu is being maintained.
No community transmission has been recorded.
