Non-essential businesses who are still operating have been asked to close down until COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted.

Suva Retailers Association president Jitesh Patel says some businesses that are not listed as essential services were still found operating.

“If your business is not listed in the essential business list, please close it down.”

Mr Patel said he advised all members of the association what was expected of them as the Government tried to control the spread of the virus.
