The 53-year-old hotel maid who “interacted” with a quarantine facility guard has dismissed allegations of any intimate relationship with the soldier.

Local social media forums and individual postings went into overdrive after the Prime Minister statement was issued on April 19.

“As announced over the weekend, we detected a case of COVID-19 in a soldier who was working in a border quarantine facility. While he was carrying the virus, he had interaction with daytime staff of the facility.

Speaking from inside the quarantine facility, the hotel maid insisted she wasn’t the only one who had cleaned the soldier’s room.
