Eighty minutes of rugby league proved dividends for the Kaiviti Silktails as they recorded their third win in the Ron Massey Cup competition.

The Wes Naiqama coached- side defeated Cabramatta 38-14 at Mascot Oval on Saturday afternoon.

The Silktails successfully converted a penalty goal as the halftime siren sounded to take a 14-4 lead into the break.

Cabramatta came out fighting after Jack Ryan chased down a grubber kick and the conversion was successful to close the gap to 14-10.

The two sides traded tries before the Silktails gained momentum after Apakuki Tavodi forced his way over with the conversion successful to extend their lead 26-14.

Kaiviti secured the victory in the 74th minute after a good run by Akuila Tavakaturaga with Mosese Qionomacawa landing the conversion to extend the lead to 32-14.
