COVID-19: Team North On Viti Levu To Assist

The Labasa Hospital team on their way to Viti Levu.
A team from Labasa Hospital arrived on Viti Levu around midday today to help colleagues in Suva and in the West.
Minister for Health Dr Ifereimi Waqainabete said he was grateful for the dedication and sacrifice shown by the young medical practitioners.
It is understood that 8 doctors and 11 nurses from the North travelled to Viti Levu early this morning.
Contingency plans are also in place for the North should there be a outbreak.
