Water Authority Offers 30-Day Extension For Current Water Bills

To assist customers, unable to pay their water bill because of the current COVID-19 containment restrictions, the Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) is offering a 30-day extension to current water bill due dates.

“We understand that this is a very challenging time for many Fijians, especially with the necessary measures that have had to be taken to keep Fiji safe from COVID-19,” said WAF CEO, Barry Omundson.

“This initiative is mainly meant to help those who are currently unable to attend work having been restricted to certain containment zones, and maybe having financial difficulties, as a result.”

“The 30 extra days, the timeframe for which extends from the current water bill due date, should allow our affected customers sufficient time to clear all their current dues.”

Customers looking to take advantage of the 30 day extension will need to contact WAF on 3346777 or 5777 (all mobile networks) or email contact@waf.com.fj for assistance.
