The Fiji Football Association 2021 mid-season Transfer Window which was scheduled to open today (June 1) has been deferred.

This was confirmed yesterday by Fiji FA chief executive officer Mohammed Yusuf indicating that it has been deferred to July.

This, Yusuf said, was approved by the Fiji FA Board of Control.

“The mid-season Transfer Window will be from July 15-31, subject to the approval of the FIFA Transfer Matching System,” he said.

Yusuf said the Transfer Window would be under strict rules.

“We want to protect all the districts that are continuing to look after their players during this second wave of the pandemic,” he added.
