Wearing Fiji Virtual Auction Fundraiser Tomorrow

Be part of the Wearing Fiji Project virtual auction fundraiser tomorrow on Facebook at 11am.
The Wearing Fiji Project have partnered with Member of Parliament and Opposition Whip, Lynda Tabuya to fundraise for families in need and who have been affected due to COVID-19.
The Wearing Fiji designers are providing pieces to be auctioned virtually.
“Every Fijian is feeling the constraints of COVID, particularly families living below the poverty line and those who have lost their jobs.
Wearing Fiji co-founder Samson Lee said: “We are teaming with MP Lynda Tabuya because she’s already doing work in the com m unity helping Fijian families.”
About The Designers
Wearing Fiji designers, Robert Verebasaga, Hupfeld Hoerder, Atelaite Daunibau, Natalia Larsen, Andrew Powell, Samson Lee and Temesia Tuicaumia are donating garments from previous and upcoming season collections for auction.
MP Tabuya said: “Fijians are resilient, our communities band together when our fellow Fijians are in need.
“I’m honoured to be partnering with a Fijian creative arts com m unity specifically the fashion community to help them fundraise for Fijian families in need.”
About Bidding
The organisers in a statement said pre-registering for bidders has begun on Facebook. Interested bidders can head to the Wearing Fiji page or Lynda Tabuya’s page to register.
Wearing Fiji co-founder, Neisau Tuidraki said: “We are very proud to have MP Tabuya on board as host of our virtual auction.
“She leads by example by championing local fashion brands whether in Parliament or public, but most importantly we believe in her community work.”
All proceeds will go towards purchasing food packs for families in need in the communities MP Tabuya works with.
