Flying Fijians Pray For Nation’s Quick Recovery

The Flying Fijians have assured the nation that they are praying for its quick recovery from the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Undergoing quarantine in Christchurch, New Zealand, the team conveyed their message to the Fiji Rugby Union chief executive officer, John O’Connor.
The team have been conducting their virtual daily devotion. We are praying for Fiji, our people and our recovery,” stated the team.
“We will do everything within our hearts to represent and make you all proud.”
The Flying Fijians play two Test matches against the All Blacks in New Zealand on July 10 and 17.
Speaking to SUNsports yesterday, O’Connor said the Australian and New Zealand- based players along with the coaches are going to join the squad on June 26.
“They’ll start their preparations for the All Blacks matches.
“Right now, the players in quarantine have been given their training programmes and they are following it in their rooms. Also, the players are undergoing swab tests, as well.”
