Kirwan: Fiji Will Find It Harder

The Australia-based Flying Fijian players are keeping their fingers crossed that they will be able to fly across to Christchurch, New Zealand, to join the squad.
Speaking to SUNsports yesterday, Mosese Sorovi (Snr)said his son and namesake Moses, Teti Tela and Frank Lomani are waiting for the lockdown to be lifted.
“Moses is eager to join the squad for the first time,” Sorovi (Snr) said.
“We are hoping that everything will turn out well and the boys can fly across to prepare for the All Blacks Test.”
Also, joining the team tomorrow are France-based Peceli Yato, Peni Ravai and Eroni Mawi from England.
TV commentator and legendary All Blacks winger Sir John Kriwan said the Fijians are going to find it harder since the All Blacks are on fire after their 102-0 win over Tonga.
“If there is any surprise then it will have to be in the first test otherwise it is going to be harder for Fiji,” he said.
All Blacks head coach Ian Foster said they are excited about playing Fiji in Dunedin.
Last Friday, Fiji Rugby Union chief executive officer John O’Connor said the team management have worked on certain arrangements leading up to the Test matches.
Meanwhile, the Flying Fijians joined the Fijian community in Chirstchurch on Saturday for a church service as they celebrated Rotuma Day.
