Youth Group Assists The Less Fortunate

Twenty-two-year-old Abdul Zorhab said he formed the group One Nation Our People Youth Foundation to assist the less fortunate.

Since the NGO begun, they have assisted more than 250 families.

Mr Zorhab said it has been a month now since the formation of the NGO which was possible through his former school mates and teachers from Lautoka Muslim College and colleagues from renowned NGO Being Helping Hands Fiji.

He said the recent project included a joint initiative with We care Relief Canada’ where 30 food vouchers of $50 from New World were distributed on Friday.

“We want to assist everyone because we are all Fijians and we have covered Lawaki, Tomuka, Tavakubu, Lovu, a few houses in Drasa.
