Close To 9,000 Ministry Of Education Staff Have Received Their First Vaccinations
The Ministry of Education, Heritage and Arts confirms that 9,119 staff which includes teachers and Head Office staff have received their first dose of AstraZeneca Vaccination. Hon. Minister Akbar says,

The Ministry of Education, Heritage and Arts confirms that 9,119 staff which includes teachers and Head Office staff have received their first dose of AstraZeneca Vaccination.
Hon. Minister Akbar says, the Ministry contacted all its 13,823 employees to collate data on the vaccination programme.
As of today, we can confirm that 9,119 employees have received their first dose of vaccination.
We will continue with this exercise and update our database in the coming weeks, said Hon. Minister Akbar.
We encourage all Ministry staff to get vaccinated for the safety of their loved ones and their communities.
It is also important for teachers to get fully vaccinated before schools reopen for face to face classes.
