Take pride of where you came from, your country, and your Vanua, and may God bless you!

Those were the words of advice from the Momo Levu na Tui Vuda, Ratu Eparama Kitione Tavaiqia to the Olympic gold medalist Jiuta Wainiqolo on Friday last week at Viseisei village.

The 7s star hails from Namara, Vuda left for France with his wife Fiona Weleilakeba on Saturday morning.

He shares maternal links to Vatulele, Nadroga.

Wainiqolo will be joining Top 14 club Toulon after signing a three-year deal.

Ratu Tavaiqia advised the Olympian to achieve what he has been assigned to do.

Wainiqolo said the three-year deal is a new chapter for him and his wife.
