Republic of Fiji Military Forces signed an agreement with Sai Prema Foundation Fiji for free medical services.

This means that all RFMF personnel, their spouses and children can get free medical check-ups at the Sanjeevani Hospital in Suva.

The agreement was signed yesterday at the hospital in Nasese.

The foundation will also offer RFMF:

n Children free heart screenings at the Sai Sanjeevani Heart Screening Centre and through outreach heart screening camps

n Free dental treatment at the soon-to-be-opened Children’s Dental Centre.

Sai Prema Foundation director Sumeet Tappoo said he wanted to inculcate a culture of gratitude in Fiji through these signings.

“Our lives are so busy with the mundane matters that envelope us that we forget to recognise all the good that is around us,” he said.

The Fiji Police Force and the National Fire Authority entered into the same agreement.
