Serritslev Hails New Technical Director

Fijian football head coach, Flemming Serritslev, is looking forward to work with the newly appointed technical director.
He indicated it would be of enormous support to him regarding the development of younger players.
Fiji FA’s new technical director, Timo Jankowski, was appointed last week.
“I’m sure he will be able to develop Fiji Football players, no doubt about this,” Serritslev said.
“He will start working together with our development officers from Labasa, Suva and Ba.
“There will be a lot of work to do in our talent development.
“It’s always good when you have one new way to exchange ideas, can support me in the best way possible.
“I’m assured that he will support me also in the development especially of the under 17 and under 19 national team.”
Serritsev added the national training squad is looking forward to the next national camp once allowed by the Government.
“More than 20 national players have been fully vaccinated, so we are just awaiting Government to give the orders,” he said.
“We want the national team to camp as soon as possible, they have been without games for half a year.
“We hope to get permission soon, if we get that possibility tomorrow, if we get the permission.
“We will have our camps in Ba, as all staff in Ba, and development officers are fully vaccinated.
However, dates and venue of the World Cup qualifier are yet to be confirmed.
“Hopefully it will be sometimes in February or March, so we have enough time to prepare.”
