Only One Member Of Parliament Left To Get Second Jab

All Members of Parliament (MPs) have been fully vaccinated except for one MP.
This was confirmed by the Speaker of Parliament, Ratu Epeli Nailatikau yesterday.
This follows a circular issued on August 25, instructing all MPs and secretariat staff to confirm their vaccination status to the speaker.
Ratu Epeli said: “The Parliamentarians are vaccinated, and one is still left to get their second dose by the end of this month.
“Two of the secretariat staff are waiting for their second dose which is early next month.”
This is in compliance with COVID-safe protocols and the Health and Safety at Work (General Workplace Conditions) (Amendment) Regulations 2021.
