The post mortem for the late Saleshni Devi, who died in a car incident this week, has been completed and classified as a murder case. This was confirmed by Police Media Officer Wame Bautolu.

“The case is now being classified as murder; investigations are currently underway. We cannot reveal any information regarding the post mortem, but other details regarding the case will be released later,” he said.

He said no arrests have been made yet with regards to the case.

The late mother of four, lost her life in an incident in Teidamu, Lautoka on Wednesday evening. The vehicle she was in went down a cliff.

Her body was discovered the next morning by several witnesses, including Matawalu Village couple Sanaila Bula and Lusi Marakiwai.

The late Ms Devi attained her Bachelor of Arts Degree and Graduate Diploma in Teaching from the University of Fiji in July and is survived by her husband, Ajay and their four children.
