The appointments that Brig Gen MOHAMMED held locally was Director for Army Legal Service, Chief of Staff for RFMF before he ascended to the position to Deputy Commander, a position he held for almost 8 years. Brig Gen MOHAMMED has been an asset to the RFMF, and his absence will surely be felt.

During his career in the Military, Capt.[N] FOX also held position of Director Force Development & Strategic Command and Chief of Navy. Captain [Navy] Humphrey Biu TAWAKE has been appointed as Deputy Commander. Capt[N] TAWAKE currently holds the position of Chief of Navy. He was commissioned into the Fiji Navy in 01 July 1992 and rose through the ranks. Before holding the Position of Chief of Navy, Capt[N] TAWAKE held senior appointments within the RFMF including being Director for Peace Support Operations. Having recently graduated from Australian War College Capt[N] TAWAKE has proven himself and is the ideal candidate for the appointment.
