The Fiji Embassy Tokyo (FET) Natural Disaster Relief Appeal Fund has reached the milestone of raising JPY7,006,351 (FJ$132,497) for the victims of Tropical Cyclone Yasa.

Despite the global COVID-19 pandemic, some still contributed generously, and this by far was the second-largest contribution to the FET Natural Disaster Relief Appeal Fund. For Cyclone Winston, FET raised JPY 13,091,455 (FJ$247,572.32).

Ambassador Isikeli Mataitoga said the contribution raised would be utilised in the relief and rehabilitation of the cyclone victims who desperately and badly needed our support.
