PM Hails Sabeto True Mart

Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama hailed the efforts of Grace Road Group yesterday as he launched True Mart Sabeto supermarket.
The supermarket includes a restaurant.
The new mall adds to the chain of True Mart supermarkets located in Navua, Yadua, Nawaicoba, and Namaka.
Mr Bainimarama said residents of Sabeto and the wider Nadi community now had a wider range of choices.
“This has been one of the key objectives of my Government – facilitating enterprise and competition and giving ordinary Fijians a wide range of choices in products and services,” he said.
“They can get a variety of healthy and fresh vegetables, groceries, as well as household and personal products.”
Real Consumer Choices
Grace Road Group gave consumers real choices, Mr Bainimarama said.
“The sort of choices that once were limited to only the most densely populated areas of the country.
“And there is another benefit; markets where people can shop reliably, relax for a while and see their neighbours become focal points for a community,” he said.
Grace Road Group said it was dedicated to rural development.
Group president, Daniel Kim, said the company’s principles focuses on integrating agriculture and retail to benefit the community and job creation.
True Mart Sabeto employs over 20 new staff members.
It is understood the Grace Road Group has several other projects in progress including at:
– Grace Fields in Veisari.
– Denarau Bypass Road.
– True Mart in Wailoaloa, Nadi.
