Tappoo Performs In Free Thanksgiving Concert

A free concert to give thanks for Fijians challenging work during the COVID-19 pandemic will be held at Churchill Park, Lautoka.
Fiji’s own international artist Sumeet Tappoo will be performing on Saturday, October 16 from 5pm-9pm.
The concert is organised by the Hanuman Chalisa Pariwar and 2000 food packs will be distributed among the crowd.
Organiser Ravi Singh said the programme was organised to thank Lord Hanuman Ji for guiding Fiji out of the COVID-19 crisis.
“We can now collectively have such spiritual functions, while adhering to all the COVID-19 protocols that are being advocated for such gathering,” Mr Singh said.
“One broader objective for the Samuhik Hanuman Chalisa Paat Spritual programme will be to instill cultural and religious values and tolerance among our followers, such that we could preach and practise the Sanatan Vedic Philosophy of ‘this entire world is one family’.
“And that we need to respect every culture, religion and mother nature to be able to live in peace and harmony collectively together.”
Mr Tappoo had earlier this year embarked on a series of tours to perform at different venues aiming to bring compassion among people during the pandemic.
