Expect The Unexpected, Warns Coach

The Rewa football side are bracing themselves for a tough encounter against Nadi on Sunday.

Travelling to Prince Charles Park, Nadi, Rewa FC coach Roderick Singh said they need a win to maintain their standing at the Digicel Premier League points table.

A win could see them grab the top spot since Lautoka and Labasa are not playing this weekend.

While for Nadi, a win could put them into second place.

The Delta Tigers have put behind their 3-2 loss to Nadroga in a friendly match at Lawaqa Park, Sigatoka, last Sunday.

“It’s not going to be easy playing against Nadi at their home ground,” he said.

“Preparations have been good. It’s going to be a tough game but we will be going in well-prepared.

“Nadi is an unpredictable team and they will come out firing,” Singh added.

Rewa FC have secured the services of former South Auckland Rangers football player, Ivan Kumar, during the players transfer window for this new season.

However, Nadi are expected to field a new striker partnership after Rusiate Matererega has moved to Nadroga.

Veteran Napolioni Qasevakatini is expected to partner with Sakaraia Naisua while goalkeeper Vereti Dickson is to man the defensive line with solid defender Ame Votoniu.
