Jokhan Realtors opened its Ba branch.

Managing director, Reginald Jokhan said the move marked a steady growth in the industry, and a commitment to the economy.

“Historically, many business people have come from Ba,” Mr Jokhan said.

“And there have been huge transactions in terms of property purchasing in Ba.”

Jokhan Realtors sold properties worth around $2 million in Ba, in June.

“That shows transactions are taking place,” he said.

“It might be little, but it accumulates to something greater.”

“Jokhan Realtors wants to establish itself in the greater Ba area, so that people can find and purchase properties with ease.”

He said the real estate industry would need three to five years to recover from the impacts of COVID-19 pandemic.

Customer satisfaction still tops the real estate agencies priorities, Mr Jokhan said.

Jokhan Realtors have their headquarters at Selbourne Street, Suva, with branches in Lautoka and Ba.

Jokhan Realtors employs agents in Tavua and Rakiraki.

Employment opportunities
Mr Jokhan said there was an increased interest from the public in obtaining employment at the new Ba office.

“In real estate industry, the more, the merrier,” he said.

Jokhan Realtors Ba office is located in Anita Jeweller’s building in Main Street, Ba.
