Tanoa Hotel Group under the Reddy Foundation Program is continuing their never-ending support to the Fiji Cancer Society.

The company’s recent support is a donation of $5000 to the Fiji Cancer Society as part of the  Pinktober awareness drive at the Tanoa Waterfront Hotel in Lautoka yesterday.

In handing over the cheque to the society’s chief executive officer, Belinda Chen, Tanoa Hotel Group Area General Manager Fiji, Narend Kumar said even though COVID-19 has been in the way for many, it has not stopped the Tanoa Hotel Group from giving back.

“Despite COVID-19 and other challenges over the years, Tanoa Hotel Group under Reddy Group of Companies is not shying away from continuously supporting Fiji Cancer Society on a yearly basis since 2014,” Mr Kumar said.

“Our support to the Fiji Cancer Society is one of the many ways to show our appreciation to the female workforce out there supporting their families and companies especially during these trying times.

“We hope the Pinktober initiative will help create awareness so that signs of cancer are detected early for a better survival rate from this deadly disease.”

Ms Chen said she was thankful to the Group for always being supportive.

“Everything we get will go towards patient support and now we have included grocery packs for our patients and if it is not there it is medication or diapers for which there is a need for patients,” she said.

She is encouraging all women to continue visiting a doctor if they feel that they are not their normal selves.

Reddy Foundation, is a charitable initiative of Yanktesh Permal Reddy, Chairman of Reddy Group of Companies together with Managing Director Rohit Reddy and Director Kamini Reddy, was established to enable and support change to help communities in New Zealand and the Pacific to thrive.
