Lautoka midfielder Zibraaz Hanif Sahib believes that his team can extend their lead in the Digicel Premier League top table as they prepare to take on Suva at the ANZ Stadium, Rewa on Sunday.

“We are looking forward to our next match and that is this Sunday against Rewa on their home ground,” Sahib said.

“Our game against Navua last Sunday was a good one. It was our first after a long time. Not bad but we need to continue improving,” he said.

“Rewa will be a tough game; this depends on which team plays well.”

Meanwhile, Sahib will be marrying his sweetheart, Ardarshna Kumar on December 11 at The Pearl Resort, Pacific Harbour.

“I am looking forward to this day as well,” he said.

“At the same time continue with training and polishing our set play to remain on the top.”

The Blues have a commanding lead with 16 points ahead of second place Rewa (12), Nadi (11), while Labasa and Ba share fourth spot with 10 points a piece on the points table.

The 32-year-old national rep was also instrumental in the 2-1 win over Navua last weekend.

In other DPL matches, Nadi will host Ba at Prince Charles Park and Suva play Nadroga, at the stadium.
