Sofitel Fiji Resort and Spa will exclusively host the delegates for the 2021 Top Executive Conference (TOPEX) this weekend.

The Fiji Commerce & Employers Federation’s annual event is scheduled at the five star resort on Denarau Island from Friday, November 12 to Saturday, November 13.

It is understood that the Acting Prime Minister Inia Seruiratu will be the chief guest at the event.

This year’s theme is Resilient Businesses Ready for Tomorrow, 2030.

The resort will re-open to the general public on Monday, November 15.

Director for Sales and Marketing Michael Bell said: “ The resort really is starting to feel alive again, there is a great deal of work going on behind the scenes in readiness for the TOPEX Conference this week.”

“In preparation we have welcomed over 170 ambassadors back to work as we prepare the 200+ rooms required for the conference and all of the conference facilities that will be in use.”

“TOPEX will be the first major conference to utilise the resort following it’s $50 million renovation.”

Mr Bell with the renovation there were also a number of new elements added to it this includes:
– a Night Club,

– Kids Beach Club,

– water cannons and jets to the main family pool,

– a rum bar on the beach,

– a fine dining adults only pool side dinner experience in Waitui,

– a Fiji Airways Check In kiosk on resort premises,

– a new interactive buffet restau rant with 6 x live kitchens,

– a teenage zone with arcade style games,

– and a brand new hair and nail salon.
