A-G Talks Of Potential Electric Mobility Ecosystem

Attorney-General and Minister for Economy Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum (third from left) met with the President and CEO of the World Resource Institute (WRI), Anirudhha Dasgupta at the margins of COP26.

They discussed areas of mutual cooperation on technical implementation support for Fiji’s Climate Change Act – including the potential for an electric mobility ecosystem in Fiji’s public transportation sector – as well as the continuation of the collaboration between the Fijian Government and the Institute.

WRI brings together 1400 experts and employees across more than 25 countries.

They have been providing technical support to the Fijian Government since 2018, assessing and monitoring progress on climate finance, and helping develop the National Climate Finance Strategy.
