Krishnil Prasad is passionate about cooking.

The 27-year old is a Cluster Marketing Executive, Marriott Fiji Hotels and Resorts.

“I love to cook and evolve traditional reci­pes by localising it using seasonal ingredi­ents.

“When I am stressed, I love to bake and do a bit of cleaning,” he said.

Mr Prasad enjoys watching psychological thrillers and his favourite movies include Dangerous Ishq, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, Hamari Adhuri Kahani.

He also loves reading and has recently completed reading a novel 8 Perfect Mur­ders written by Peter Swanson. Mr Prasad was born in Suva but, currently lives in Nadi with his mother.

How many places in Fiji have you been to?
I have travelled within Viti Levu and hotels like Fiji Mar­riott Resort Momi Bay, Westin Denarau Island Resort and Spa, Radisson Blu Resort Fiji Denarau Island, Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort, Naviti Resort to apartment style accommodation like the Palms, backpacker and Beachcomber Is­land Resort.

What us the one place in Fiji you would take every visitor to, and why?
Sheraton Resort and Spa, Tokoriki Island.

Coffee at Grace Road restaurants.

Quick bites at Heineken House restaurant and bar, the Denarau Golf and Racquet Club has the best wood fired oven pizzas and chicken wings with impressive views of the championship golf course and alfresco din­ing experience.

My favourite secret backyard spot is at home where I love cook authentic Indo-Fi­jian foods.

Namale Resort and Spa.
