Chad Eastgate loves to explore new places during his free time.
He is the Events Manager for Tourism Fiji.
Tourism Fiji is the statutory body that is responsible for marketing and promoting Fiji as a tourist destination globally.
It has headquarters in Nadi, with offices in Sydney, Auckland, Los Angeles, London, Germany and China.
Representatives are in India, Singapore and Japan reflecting the importance of visitors from these markets.
Apart from exploring places, Mr Eastgate loves playing field hockey and spending time with his family and friends.
He was born and raised in Suva but he now resides with his family in Namaka, Nadi.

How many places in Fiji have you been to?
I have been around Viti Levu and I have been to Vanua Levu, Yasawas and the Mamanuca groups.

What is the one place in Fiji you would take every visitor to, and why?
Taveuni Island because it has great diving spots and its natural beauty is breathtaking.
What is your favourite place for a pie or coffee, and why?
I love Bulaccino Café in Nadi.
That is where I always go to because of its convenient location.

My favourite secret backyard spot is Natadola beach, because I enjoy spending time by the ocean.
