Rewa Must Win Game, Says Singh

The Rewa football team is out for a win as they prepare to host Navua at the ANZ Stadium on Sunday.
Coach, Rodicks Singh said following their recent losses and then the draw against Labasa last week, winning is a must for the Delta Tigers at the end of this week.
“We need to bring the attitude of winning games and we will need to be consistent,” Singh said.
“Finishing is lacking on us, we could have been scoring more.”
“You can play well but if you don’t finish our chances then, we will not get the results we want.”
“We will take each week as it comes.”
Singh has been absent from the bench the past two games after he was shown the red card during their game against Suva.
“The disciplinary committee’s decision has been pending. Next week, I hope I’m with the team,” he said.
“We know Navua is a team that is consistent with their performance but not with their results.”
“We really need to work out because we know we need a win.”
It has been a tough start for Rewa since the Digicel Premier League competition resumed after lockdown.
“We tried to penetrate Labasa; we knew they were hungry to play.”
“It was not the result that we wanted; it has been a roller coaster ride for us the past three weeks.”
“Definitely we will take this one point because it is important to us.”
“The boys played well, they executed the game plan.”
“There is still a lot of work to do.”
“This is where we want to work on, to stop conceding goals.”
“If we continue to concede goals then we really have to work very hard to make our way up the league points table.”
