The administration officer at the Oceania National Olympic Committee (ONOC), Tessa-Maree Harman’s passion is often intermingled with her profession.
Ms Harman is a former national representative in hockey.
The first time she represented Fiji was in 2009 when she was only 13-years-old, becoming the youngest player ever in the history of Fiji hockey to don the national jersey.
“I have travelled to the likes of the 2018 Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires and to the 2019 International Athletes Forum in Lausanne, Switzerland,” Ms Harman said.
“I am heavily involved with sports work and awareness in Fiji through the Fiji Association of Sport and National Olympic Committee Voices of the Athletes’ programme.”
Ms Harman has also been nominated as a Fiji Chess Federation executive member from 2020 to 2021.
