The Fiji Meteorological Service will continue to monitor this weather event and update warnings and forecasts accordingly.

Developing Low Pressure System Near Solomon Islands Not Expected To  Directly Affect Fiji

A low pressure system currently lies near Solomon Islands.

However, this system is not expected to directly affect Fiji.

The only concern for Fiji will be the possibility of heavy rain with risk of flooding from the associated convergence zone later next week.

 

The Fiji Meteorological Service will continue to monitor this weather event and update warnings and forecasts accordingly.
