Roderick Singh: We’ll Come Out Stronger

We need to regroup, recover, re-strategise and come out stronger against Ba.
These were the words of Rewa coach Roderick Singh after their 3-0 win over Nadroga in their Digicel Premier League clash at Lawaqa Park, Sigatoka, last Sunday.
Singh said Nadroga had given them a lot of things to think about in their preparation for the Ba match.
“We’ll relook at some of our mistakes during training,” he said.
“We will recover, we will rethink and come stronger against Ba.”
Singh praised his players for a superb performance.
“They played well and stuck to the game plan.”
“We came here for one reason only and that is to win and get the three points.”
“I’m happy since we have got the result we had wanted.”
Swamy Wary of Blues
Nadroga coach Kamal Swamy was disappointed with his players’ performance.
“It was a very pathetic performance because the players did not turn up for training,” he said.
“Obviously our fitness level was down.
In this transition we were poor because we were not moving forward.
“We have playing in the midfield, which tells us the players are not fit.”
Swamy added that they need to pull up their socks before facing DPL points table leaders Lautoka.
“It will be a tough match.”
“Lautoka wants to win the title so for sure we need to pull our socks up so that we can perform better,” he added.
