• My right hand is burnt from my elbow right through to my fingers. My right pinky finger is actually a stump due to the burn
• I ride a motorbike
• I have never breached quarantine
• I have been to Hong Kong on the week of the Hong Kong 7s, to work around the 7s tournament for my company Fiji Airways, who is the major sponsor of the Fiji Airways Fijian and Fijiana 7s teams. But I have never actually watched the Hong Kong 7s live inside the stadium!

How many places have you visited around Fiji? 

Most of Viti Levu, parts of Vanua Levu, Mamanucas, Yasawas and Taveuni. 

What is the one place in Fiji you would take visitors to, and why?

Cuvu, but I’m biased, of course.

It’s home.

But visitors would have great experiences pretty much anywhere in Fiji.

Our people everywhere in Fiji are very hospitable.

Coffee Hub is located in the Essence Of Fiji building, next to Mobil service station, Nadi Back Road . The cafe and lounge is operated by the well known Barista “Zoro”. It has easy parking and amazing coffee.

What is your favourite place for coffee/pie, and why? 

There are a few good ones – Coffee Hub and Broady’s in Nadi.

For a fun hangout, I like Wailoaloa Beach Club (Wailoaloa) and India Gate in Votualevu.

All of these places are good value for money.

What is your favourite backyard spot, and why?

Again, I’ll have to say it’s Cuvu.

It’s honestly beautiful, brings me peace and reminds of my childhood growing up with my cousins and friends.

It also grounds me, and keeps me connected to my roots.

There are a couple of places to stay in Cuvu if you’re visiting from outside – like the Shangri-la’s Fijian Resort & Spa and Geckos Resort.

Eco Trax is a great experience and everyone – locals or tourists – will absolutely enjoy it.

Fun fact: Eco Trax also passes through Namuka, right next to Cuvu, and my forefathers have roots there as well. In fact, my great grandmother is buried in Muka.

What is one place in Fiji that remains on your bucket list, and why?

Climbing De Voeux Peak in Taveuni to get to Lake Tagimoucia. 

It has fascinated me always.

Taveuni itself has such an allure about it, and I loved it when I was there. 

I can’t wait to go back.

I humbly seek permission from the landowners of the area and trek up to Lake Tagimoucia.

I feel like it holds wonders that you have to see in person.
