Mr Food Bus Is In The Capital

Look out Suva and Nausori, a new food bus is in the Capital.
What began as a humble food business in the back of a car along Nasese, grew into a food truck two years ago and just this week expanded into a food bus.
Owner and operator Ravinesh Kumar started operating his Mr Food Bus side-by-side with Mr Food Truck on Wednesday.
His target – the hundreds of employees along the Queen Elizabeth Drive stretch.
Mr Kumar said he was thankful to Government for being confident in Micro and Small Medium Enterprises (MSME) and enabling their growth.
Mr Food Bus services along the Suva-Nausori corridor before lunch hour visiting offices and hotspots and between 1pm and 4pm you will find it in Nasese.
Five years ago Mr Kumar left bus driving to venture into the food business.
The Rakiraki man said he used his savings from his car food business to help buy and refurbish Mr Food Truck.
Eventually, savings from there also helped him refurbish and establish Mr Food Bus.
Additionally, a loan enabled the purchase of his mobile food business.
His wife, Pritika Chand, is the woman cooking up storms in the two mobile food outlets.
