Experiencing COVID Symptoms?  Here’s Where To Go

The Ministry of Health and Medical Services has set up screening clinics facilities in health centres around the country.

This is where people experiencing COVID-19 symptoms could present themselves in order to be tested.

This is done to avoid overcrowding in outpatient departments in health facilities nationwide.

COVID-19 symptoms include any cold/flu-like symptoms such as runny nose, sneezing, nasal congestion, sore throat, cough, body ache, fever.

The ministry has advised that similar to symptomatic COVID-positive patients, all asymptomatic positive cases and their primary contacts must isolate in their own homes for 10 days and monitor any COVID-19 symptoms.

It further states that Individuals who test positive would be provided immediate advice and care by the health teams at the screening facility.

The ministry has also urged families and caregivers of the vulnerable, including the elderly to monitor the health of their loved ones and present them to fever clinics should they develop COVID-19 symptoms.

Individuals can also call 158 and request a home swabbing service in cases whereby the individuals are not able to leave home.
