Woman, 89, Dies From Fatigue In Moce, Lau
Nasau Villager, Jonemanu Matakilakeba said there were about eight houses that were damaged from the two villages in Moce.

An 89-year-old woman from Korotolu Village in Moce, Lau died from fatigue after moving to higher grounds following a tidal surge last Saturday.
The tidal surge was the result of the underwater volcano, Hunga-Tonga-Hunga-Ha’apai that happened last Saturday.
Minister for Disaster Management Inia Seruiratu said he was aware of the incident.
Nasau Villager, Jonemanu Matakilakeba said there were about eight houses that were damaged from the two villages in Moce.
“Seini Maba’s house (deceased) is one of the homes that was near the beach and when the seawater started coming in, the young men in the village carried her to the evacuation centre which was located at a higher ground.”
