In a bid to extend its services to the people of Nadi, RB Patel Group Ltd plans to set up a medical centre at its Jetpoint Complex in Martintar.

This was confirmed yesterday by the company’s secretary, Deepak Rathod, after the company revealed their interest in their advertisement.

Mr Rathod said RB Patel planned to set up a centre that would make available basic equipment and an administrative structure.

“RB Patel invites to set up a centre, which will make available basis equipments and an administrative structure which allow most doctors to operate with a centralised reception, nurses, helpers etc as well as a software that will records appointments and archive patient records appointments and archive patient records and make these available to those medical personnel authorised to access them,” Mr Rathod said.

He also said the centre hopes to include general practitioners, dentists, opticians, X-ray technicians, women’s health, internal medicine, geriatrics and senior care, advanced testing, occupational medicine and chronic care management.
