Top Job At Nadi FC Goes To Chetty
New Nadi Football Association acting president Max Chetty has been given the task after the Board of Control approved and confirmed the new set of executives and management for 2022.
Chetty replaces Ashwan Singh who has been suspended for misconduct last season.
“The well balanced, experienced and an intellectual set of executive and management team will look at not only the short term but also the long term success of NFA,” Chetty said
NFA hopes to get a few players including New Zealand based Poasa Bainivalu, Lautoka duo Edward Justin and Sekove Finau and Vanuatu born student Sanivalati Duvu to strengthen their district side this new season.
“We are looking to strengthen certain areas and the mentioned players have shown interest in joining the green machine this season,” he said.
“We kick-off the season in two weeks when we host Tailevu Naitasiri. The team is into the second week of pre-season training under the watchful eyes of the coaching team; we hope to start on a high note.
Coach Kamal Swamy has a couple of teenagers which include Eneriko Matau and Pauliasi Ratu in the senior side.
The match between All In One Builders Nadi and Tailevu Naitasiri is on February 13 at Prince Charles Park at 3pm.
